ADA Compliant Ramps Update
In May, Lower Allen Township Board of Commissioners awarded the 2025 Infrastructure and Paving Contract to Kinsley Construction, LLC. The contract includes the installation of approximately 64 ADA compliant ramps in the Rossmoyne Manor Development as well as the installation of approximately 1,400 feet of new stormwater pipe and the replacement of 20 stormwater inlets. This work is being done before anticipated roadway paving tentatively scheduled for next year.
Kinsley Construction anticipates beginning the work on this portion of the contract by the end of August. During the work, access will be maintained for emergency vehicles, mail carriers, trash collection, and residents. Please be advised that temporary “No Parking” areas may be established on roads as work progresses. This work is weather dependent and may encounter delays in the event of rain.
The Township has also been made aware of plans from PA American Water to begin work replacing the water main on Kensington Drive and Scarsdale Drive.
Please be mindful of increased activity and traffic in the area while the projects are underway. For questions or concerns please contact the Township office at (717) 975-7575 x 1007.
